Honors Ambassadors Welcome New Members

Article submitted by the Honors Ambassador Program

As 2013 comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect on our first year and welcome our new members. 2013 was a year of firsts for the Honors Ambassador Program and we’ve written about them here.

We would like to congratulate and welcome our new members for 2014:

  • Ibrahim Lahlaf, a Junior Business Major with Marketing and Management concentrations and minors in History and Biology
  • Kathleen Coulter, a Sophomore in Biology with a Biotechnology option
  • Flavio Da Silvio Souza, a Sophomore Political Science major with an Economics minor
  • Nathaniel Swanson, a Sophomore in Chemical Engineering with minors in Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology
  • Molly McGuire, a Freshman in Engineering
  • Stephanie Ternullo, a Freshman Plastics Engineering major with minors in Biomedical Engineering and Business
  • Biannca Cardoso, a Freshman Biology major in Pre-Med
  • Samir Khoulani, a Freshman Computer Science and Electrical Engineering double major

Our new members will officially become ambassadors on January 1, 2014. In May, we’ll be sadly saying goodbye to our four seniors:

  • Alyssa Piper, a founding member of the Honors Ambassador Program. Alyssa has laid the groundwork for her startup NCo, which is constructing its first store at Mill No. 5 in Downtown Lowell.
  • Brittany Andersen, who is looking to enroll in Cultural Studies & Media PhD program in Fall of 2014
  • Rishi Vangapalli, who will be working at a lab in Boston and applying to a clinical Ph.D. program
  • and Kacey Hill, our beloved Biology major and avid marathon runner

We wish our outgoing seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors and welcome our new members to the program. See our full team here.
