The festival itself will take place on April 5 th and 6 th and will be held in the Richard and Nancy Donahue Family Academic Arts Center, Lowell, MA.

On Friday, April 5th there will be films shown from 7-9pm. On Saturday, April 6th we will have one block of films from 3:30-5pm and another from 6:30-8pm. Awards for Best Narrative Film, Best Documentary Film, Best High School Short Film, and Best Animation Film will be announced on Saturday.

Alongside the showcase of films, we will have a panel entitled “Equity, Diversity, and Representation for Women in Filmmaking”. Moderated by Robyn Bahr and including industry professionals such as Nerissa Williams Scott, Alison Katinger and Amy Gellar, the panel will discuss their personal journeys, the future of filmmaking for women, and career advice for all emerging filmmakers.

We have forged partnerships with the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Middlesex Community College, allowing us to connect with their students and raise their voices.
