Student survey about internships

Diana Arhcibald

A survey about internships has been emailed to students in the College of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (FAHSS). Those who complete the quick, anonymous survey by the Nov. 21 deadline have a chance to win one of several $10 gift cards.

An interdisciplinary workgroup of FAHSS faculty and staff has been charged by the Dean’s Office to develop a plan to support internships in the College. They are gathering information to better understand student experiences and attitudes towards internships.

Co-chair of the FAHSS Internship Committee, Prof. Diana Archibald said, “Student input is really important. We want to know what the barriers and incentives really are for students, so we can create a plan that will work.”

All students are encouraged to complete the survey, even those who do not plan to take an internship. Students opinions matter!

To take the survey, you can follow the link in the email sent to you or use the QR code.
