Looking to take a break from all your studying? Or are you an EDM (electronic dance music) fanatic who simply loves to dance and have fun? If so, grab a couple friends and head down to Naga located on 450 Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge. The club features a large dance floor, a spacious lounging area, bar, and a tastefully designed restaurant. Not 21? Not to worry, Wednesdays are exclusively 19+, providing music and rave lovers with a night full of EDM.
Last Wednesday, the club hosted the Pegboard Nerds, an up and coming Scandinavian DJ duo that is especially known for their unique remixes of Krewella and several others big DJs.
Getting there at 10p.m., the dance floor was just beginning to fill up. The atmosphere was lively; everyone was having a good time. The spacious dance floor accommodated for the growing crowd; it was crowded, but not uncomfortably packed where you didn’t have enough room to dance. The lights and sound system added to the excitement. The lights coordinated perfectly with the DJs mixes, and the bass and beats just completely filled the room with intoxicating sound. A lounge area was located conveniently towards the back of the floor.
The bouncers and bar staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
All in all, the music was great and everyone was dancing and having a good time. It was definitely a night well spent. And yes, it is absolutely worth it even if you have an 8 am class the next morning!
So if you’re looking for something new to do, grab some friends, head in to town, and check out Naga, for a night that will promise you cool music and a good time.
