On Jan. 13, 2025, industrial band Nine Inch Nails announced a world tour to take place this summer. Joined by their touring lineup, the “Peel It Back Tour 2025” marks NIN’s first tour since 2022 and will take duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross through the UK, across Europe, through Canada finishing in North America. The band is known for their avant-garde, dark and industrial sound featuring distorted guitars, synthesizers, heavy drums and Reznor’s unique vocals.

“Peel It Back Tour 2025” also marks the band’s first live outing since formation of the duo’s multimedia firm With Teeth, which has been responsible for their many collaborations and work for movies, video games, and short films. In a December 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Trent Reznor said “We’re taking the inspiration we’ve garnered and funneling it into a Nine Inch Nails project, which we’re working on now. We’re ready to be back in the driver’s seat.” It is currently unknown if Reznor was referring solely to the Peel It Back tour, or if there is a new album in the works.

As for tickets, the closest venue to UMass Lowell would be Boston’s own TD Garden. NIN’s show will take place on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.. Ticket prices vary, though at the time of writing, sell for $130.00 at the lowest on Ticketmaster.
